Last month at the Spiritual Life Summit in Traverse City, Michigan, history was made when Daniel and Cristina Carboni became the first Twin Flames to be legally married by the Church of Union (COU). After sharing in the journey together for years, their friends José and Michaila Sánchez officiated their wedding as ordained ministers with the COU.

You might have family who attend your Twin Flame wedding or friends, but they might not have any idea what a beautiful, challenging, transformational journey that you would have gone through to be with your Twin Flame and how extra meaningful it is to be marrying them.

Friendship on the Journey
When you’re on the Twin Flame journey, opening up to your innermost feelings and overcoming one challenge after another with love, you naturally become good friends with people in the community you lean on for support and understanding.
Having known Daniel and Cristina for years, José and Michaila were honored to be asked to perform their wedding. “We were humbled to be a part of their wedding,” Michaila said. “To see how far they’ve come since we first met them both is amazing and we’re so happy for them. They deserve their happily ever after and worked so hard to be there.”
Seeing Daniel and Cristina fulfill their dream of marrying their Twin Flame, especially after being pioneers together on the Twin Flame journey in Twin Flame Ascension School, brought José and Michaila deep fulfillment, too. “It was very touching to see the love in their eyes and hear it in their voices, and be in the energy of Twin Flames getting married,” said Michaila. “We’re always rooting for them and voting their victory so it was wonderful to be able to support their Union in this way and celebrate their marriage.”
